About Me

I'm proud to call New Haven home. I grew up in western Massachusetts and came to Connecticut to pursue a legal career. I earned my law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law in Hamden, and today I serve as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Connecticut.
In my current role I represent and advise state agencies, their leaders, and employees—helping government work better for the people it serves. Over the course of my career, I’ve drafted policy for state agencies, developed and advocated for legislation at our state Capitol, and provided training and technical assistance across the country on behalf of the U.S. Department of Justice. I’ve spent years listening to stakeholders, solving complex problems, and advocating for public solutions that improve lives here in Connecticut.
Outside of work, I’ve remained deeply engaged in civic life. I co-founded a statewide civics workshop for Connecticut elementary students, advocated for children struggling with truancy, and held leadership positions in both the American Bar Association and the Connecticut Bar Association.
My wife and I have lived in New Haven since 2016 and were married in Morris Cove in 2022. We love walking and sailing around the Cove, grabbing sandwiches at Del Monaco’s, handing out Halloween candy, gardening in our backyard, and getting to know our neighbors. We feel incredibly lucky to be part of the Ward 18 community.
