Hi, I'm Leland.

Leland Moore, 2026

I'm the Alder for Ward 18 (East Shore) and I work in the Connecticut Attorney General's office as an Assistant Attorney General. I've spent nearly a decade in state government—at the Capitol and in the AG's office—learning how Hartford works and how to get things done for working people. On the Board of Alders I've fought to keep Ward 18 affordable, protect East Shore parks, keep our streets safe, hold Tweed accountable to neighbors, and make sure our wealthiest institutions pay their fair share. I send regular updates to my constituents to help keep them informed and work hard every day to build community, communicate, and be responsive. A lot of what affects affordability—school funding, wages, housing, energy policy—is decided in Hartford. As your State Representative, I plan to take what I've learned on the East Shore and in state service and fight for working families across the full 97th District.

Lets Work Together

I'm at neighborhood meetings, board hearings, and events around the district. Introduce yourself—I'd love to hear what's on your mind.
